Join this year’s Summer Reading Club illustrator, Meneka Repka, to find out what it’s like to be a children’s illustrator, and the process she goes through when illustrating a picture book from start to finish. Meneka will show us types of illustrations, thumbnailing, and character development (including how to draw monsters). Then, after reading The Mango Monster, participants will have a chance to design and create their own monster craft. We will cut, fold, and decorate monsters that can be scary, goofy, cute, or anything else! Ages 8-12 Wednesday July 24th, 2-3pm over Zoom or in the Room of Requirement Register to receive the Zoom link to participate at home or come watch the Zoom with a group of participants in the Room of Requirement at the Sechelt Library - call 604-885-3260 or send an email to info@sechelt.bclibrary.ca.
