Join Thomas Greiner, Phd Candidate, University of Toronto, for a fascinating boat tour of ancient monuments and temples including the pyramids at Giza. We will explore the Giza plateau and its pyramids, sail upstream to Luxor  and the Valley of the Kings and learn how craftspeople and commoners  once lived. We will even take a sacred pilgrimage to Abydos to visit the great Temple of  Seti I and finish with a visit to Denderah, one of Egypt’s best preserved temples. You will  marvel at what these monuments look like millennia after their construction, and  also consider the current challenges and opportunities that face these  ancient wonders.
