In March 1971, within two years of his 1969 arrival on the Sunshine Coast, Tony Greenfield began recording birds. He spent 35 years as a silvicuture contractor, followed by 15 years operating and guiding nature tours to Arizona, the Rockies, the Prairies, and Yukon. An author of several books, including A Hiking Guide to the Trails of the Lower Sunshine Coast and The Waterfalls of British Columbia, he has been president of the Sunshine Coast Natural History Society for many years. During his presentation, Tony will relate some of his adventures from a lifetime of birding.
