Author Event – Dr. Paulette F.C. Steeves

Indigenous Archeologist, Professor, and the Canadian Research Chair in Healing and Reconciliation, Dr. Paulette F.C. Steeves is the author The Indigenous Paleolithic of the Western Hemisphere. This is the first book on Paleolithic archaeology of the Americas written from an Indigenous perspective includes Indigenous oral traditions, archaeological evidence and a critical and decolonizing discussion of the development of archaeology.
