Robert Conrad, the President, Observing Director, and Education Co-Chair of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada’s Vancouver Centre, will be speaking on “Observational Astronomy on Steroids”. This is a workshop that will enhance and add to your observing experience. These are strategies missing from astronomy books that will allow you to locate any celestial object, no matter how challenging.The SC Astronomy Society presents information about what to expect in the skies in the near future and also arranges for a public presentation by an expert in some aspect of Astronomy.
