Practise your reading skills by signing up for an appointment to read with a certified St. John Ambulance therapy dog! Research shows that reading to a dog is tremendously motivational for kids and provides a calming, relaxed environment for children who may feel hesitant or anxious about reading.

Paws 4 Stories runs on Wednesdays – April 5^th, 12^th, 26^th ; May 10^th, 17^th, 24^th, 31^st – 4:30-5:30 pm in the Children’s Area.  Sessions are 20 minutes. Registration required. (There will be no session on April 19^th or May 3^rd). During June, Star will be taking a break.

**Please register for a maximum of two sessions per month. Recommended for ages 6+.
