Come join in the fun as we “Walk on the Wild Side” at the Sechelt Library! Crafts, games and excellent adventures await! Register and receive a reading log to record your achievements over the summer.

Squishy Circuits-Wild Animals
Join us for hands-on exploration of circuit building. We will learn basic principles of electricity and circuitry and how to use both the conductive and insulative doughs to direct the flow of electricity.

Walk on the Wild Side Wrap Up-Where the Wild Things Are
Don’t you wish you could party with your favorite book characters? We have crafts and games all inspired by the characters from the book! Have fun and celebrate the characters you know and love at the Summer Reading Club Wrap up! Prizes and Medals awarded!
All Ages welcome, children 6 and under must be accompanied by an adult

Meet us at the Sunshine Coast Botanical Gardens as we explora the flora and creatures that inhabit the gardens. Pack a picnic lunch. Rain or shine!

Meet us at the Library, and together we will explore our way down to Snickett Park Beach and learn more about our wild waters. Pack a picnic lunch. Rain or shine!

Join us at the Seaside Center as the Gibson’s Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre visits and shares their wonderful program and stories on rescuing local wildlife.

Meet us at the Sechelt Marsh, where we will go on an interpretive walk with the Sunshine Coast Conservation Association. Pack a picnic lunch. Rain or shine!
